Privacy Notice
v0.5.1 release template · effective July 20, 2026
Before public launch, the operator must add its legal name, contact method, applicable jurisdiction, selected advertising/analytics providers, retention periods and any region-specific disclosures. This template does not replace legal review.
Data stored on your device
NEURA stores game progress, scores, XP, favorites, settings, streaks, consent choices and a bounded analytics queue in browser storage. This information stays on the device unless a deployment explicitly configures a first-party analytics endpoint.
Optional advertising
Advertising is disabled until the user makes a choice. The packaged release uses local demo placements and makes no external ad request. A production operator may configure a third-party provider. The default product configuration supports contextual advertising and does not use game scores or answers for ad targeting.
Optional analytics
When enabled, NEURA records limited product events such as app launch, game launch/completion and ad-placement outcomes. The event schema excludes names, email addresses, precise location, game answers and free-form user content. Without a configured endpoint, events remain in a bounded local queue.
Choices and controls
Open ⚙ in NEURA to change ad and analytics choices, clear the analytics queue, export local player data or reset privacy choices. The Statistics screen can reset all local progress.
Children and regional rules
The operator must determine the intended audience and implement age-gating, parental consent, consent-platform integration, restricted-data treatment and regional notices where required before enabling production advertising.
Security and retention
Local data remains until browser storage is cleared or the user resets progress. A production backend must document its own retention, security, access-control and deletion procedures.
